Mariachi Mujer Internacional, the multitalented all-female mariachi, is the greatest female talent sensation to come out of San Antonio, Texas. Founded in the winter of 2008 by its experienced Director- Lucila Torres, the inception of the name "Mariachi Mujer Internacional" came about from the international cultural background of its members who come from both Mexico and the United States. Helping to unite these cultures is the international language of music. Music is the cohesive factor embracing the Mexican culture to the multiple cultures of the United States.

The Mujer Internacional membership is composed of seven, talented female musicians with a combined musical experience of over 40 years. Members of Mariachi Mujer Internacional have had the opportunity to share the stage with world renowned mariachi groups such as Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano and "El Mejor Mariachi del Mundo" Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan. Recognized for its mariachi talents, Mariachi Mujer Internacional has played in various venues throughout Texas and venues in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Baltimore, Maryland, New Jersey and California. The music and talent demonstrated by Mujer Internacional shows that “ La Mujer” conveys the beauty and resilience of a culture with traditions that make the family strong.
