Based out of Brooklyn, NY and founded in 1983, Mariachi Tapatio de Alvaro Paulino offers musical prowess with a 5-12-piece ensemble comprised of the remarkably talented musicians with an immense desire to promote the beauty and splendor of mariachi music. MT "The Northeast's Finest Mariachi of the U.S."! MT has not only been captivating audiences throughout the NE region, but also other states and countries with their energetic shows, strong vocals, stirring melodies, and masterful execution of classical, traditional, and contemporary arrangements alike. MT appeals to audiences of all generations and heritages. MT have collaborated and shared the stage with world class artists such as Wyclef Jean former Fugee, Jose Jose "El Principe de La Cancion", Pablo Montero and more! In addition, MT have traveled internationally, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cayman Islands, Panama, and Costa Rica. Various members of MT are mariachi educators throughout schools and after school programs.
