Mariachi Bands in Quebec

EL MARIACHI GUANAJUATO DE MANUEL FIGUEROA – from Montreal Manuel Figueroa came to Montreal in 1973 with his father Don José Figueroa, most part of his life he has been working with him. The Group used to be called Los Viajeros. In the year 1984 the group was called El Mariachi Figueroa and is named like that since. Mr. Manuel Figueroa started to travel since he was very Young. His first trip was to Italy in 1979. His father sent him in his place for 22 days tour. He went and toured around the Quebec?s province, then Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, Toronto and Ottawa before he went to the USA. He toured in Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlantic City, Cincinnati, North and south Carolina, Alabama, Memphis, St. Antonio Texas, Dallas, Houston, Wisconsin, Florida Vermont, Los Angeles and last Puerto Rico. In the year 2007 he makes career on his own by funding the group El Mariachi Guanajuato de Manuel Figueroa in June 2007.

Manuel Figueroa est arrivé à Montréal en 1973 avec sonpère Don José Figueroa avec qui il travailla la majeure partie de sa vie. Le groupe s’appelait Los Viajeros. En 1984 le groupe changea de nom pour El Mariachi Figueroa et il s’appelle toujours ainsi. M. Manuel Figueroa a commencé à voyager très jeune à l’étranger. Son premier voyage était en Italie en 1979. Son père l’a délégué à sa place pour une tournée de 22 jours. Il a parcouru la province de Québec, Terre Neuve, la Nouvelle- Écosse, Toronto et Ottawa avant d’aller aux E.U. Il a aussi parcouru Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Boston, New York, Philadelphie, Washington DC, Atlantic City, Cincinnati, Caroline du nord et sud, Alabama, Memphis, St. Antonio Texas, Dallas, Houston, Wisconsin, Floride Vermont, Los Angeles et Puerto Rico. En 2007 il se retire du groupe Mariachi Figueroa pour continuer son chemin et son aventure. El Mariachi Guanajuato de Manuel Figueroa fut fondé par M. Manuel Figueroa au mois de juin 2007.
